How to Brew Great Coffee with a Keurig Machine (Yes, Really!)

If you don’t have a Keurig machine at home, you’ve probably used one at work, church, or somewhere in between. And while they’re simple to use, there are a few tips to keep in mind for the best results.

Step 1

Ensure that there are no old pods left in the machine. Let’s make this coffee as fresh as possible.

Step 2

Before brewing a fresh pod, run the smallest setting through the Keurig, water only.
This flushes out old coffee residue and cleans the machine.

Step 3

Now, brew your pod using the 8 oz setting (or the middle size option based on your machine). If you want a larger cup of coffee, we recommend brewing in two rounds of 8 oz with a separate pod for each. Brewing at 12 oz simply waters down the brew.

Step 4

Stir your coffee and drink. 

And next time, brew with a Tag coffee pod. While the typical pod contains 7-8 grams of coffee, ours are packed with 15 grams of coffee for stronger, full bodied flavor. Plus, our pods are completely recyclable.
