NEW TAG LOOK, SAME GREAT COFFEE

Tag Brew Guide

Whether you’re a coffee newbie or practically a chemist in the kitchen, we’ve got tips on how to get the most from your Tag coffee.

THE BASICS
  • Freshness

Coffee is best when brewed between 3 and 21 days after it has been roasted. Grinding your beans just before you brew is an important part of making a great cup of coffee. If you don’t grind your own beans, place the grounds in a sealed jar and store in the freezer.

  • AMOUNT

One big aspect of brewing a great cup of coffee is using the right amount of coffee. We recommend 2-2.5 tablespoons of coffee per 8 oz. of water. If you use a scale to measure your coffee we recommend 20-23 grams of coffee per 320 grams of water.

  • TASTE

No matter how you brew coffee, once it is finished brewing you will be able to taste it and based on taste, you’ll be able to adjust you’re brew to get a great cup of coffee! Coffee that “extracts” too much will taste bitter and can also taste watery.
